Strategy and Management Consulting

WE SOLVE COMPLEX CHALLENGES, GENERATING VALUE AND BUILDING SUSTAINABLE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

Flunger & Company supports its clients in the decisions that determine the future of their businesses. We act when it is necessary to define a new strategic direction, transform the organization to execute it, or improve the commercial and operational performance that sustains results. In each challenge, we combine executive experience, knowledge of different industries, and advanced analytical tools to turn complex problems into clear decisions and concrete actions.

Our approach starts from the nature of each challenge, not from a pre-defined solution. Over more than 20 years, we have developed our own methodologies and tools, continuously refined and validated in different business contexts. This repertoire allows us to adapt the depth and combination of our capabilities to each situation, connecting strategy, transformation, and performance to generate sustainable results.

Strategy

"Strategy defines where to compete, with what differentiator, and under what goals, taking market uncertainties into account."

We structure strategic planning jointly with the company's executives, articulating the organization's identity, considering its values, capabilities, and aspirations, and exploring business scenarios from the macroeconomic, political, sociocultural, and technological environment. We also assess relevant segments, demand, competitors, market dynamics, and key internal uncertainties, including available capabilities and resources.

From this reading, we define the fundamentals of strategy with the Strategic Puzzle, our proprietary methodology that structures the main elements of strategic choice: Arena, Value Proposition, Delivery Model, and Strategic Goals. The process connects scenarios to the choices that define where to compete, how to create value, how to deliver that proposition, and which goals will guide strategy implementation.

Our experience spans challenges ranging from strategic planning to competitive repositioning, in food, agribusiness, energy, and pulp and paper companies. We have also worked in contexts of international competition, supporting decisions related to positioning, growth strategy, and business competitiveness.

Business Transformation

"Business Transformation converts the defined strategy into structure, processes, and management models."

Starting from the defined strategy, we structure the organizational change needed to redirect a business, establish a new management and governance model, digitize core processes, or create an independent business unit. The transformation design preserves coherence with the value proposition established by the strategy and translates strategic choices into an organization capable of executing them.

Our approach combines organizational learning and transformation practices, developed and applied in different environments and markets. We also incorporate current challenges of cultural transformation, considering the coexistence of different generations and the adoption of new technologies. The focus is on creating conditions for change to be embedded in how the organization decides, works, and monitors its results.

In operational and organizational transformation challenges, we combine experience with implementation capability. At an industrial automation multinational, we achieved sales growth of over 15% per year and a service level improvement of more than 50%. We also structured a new governance model that unblocked partner decision-making.

Sales & Operations

"Sales & Operations elevate commercial results and the operational efficiency that sustains them."

In sales, we combine commercial strategy experience with advanced analytical approaches to identify market segments and develop differentiated value propositions aligned to consumer preferences. We use techniques such as Conjoint Analysis and Discrete Choice Experiment to measure preferences and willingness to pay, supporting decisions on segments, positioning, offering, and channels with quantitative evidence.

In operations, we apply cross-industry experience to improve operations and supply chains. We optimize supply chains, logistics, and procurement through simulation, statistical analysis, and indicator-driven management models, supporting decisions on structure, capacity, costs, and service levels. The integration between sales and operations aligns the commercial promise to the effective delivery capability.

In operations, logistics, and procurement, we turn efficiency challenges into measurable results. In projects for coffee producers, pulp and paper industries, food retailers, and energy traders, we achieved logistics cost reductions between 10% and 25%, procurement savings between 4% and 18%, and service level gains exceeding 60%.
